MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. -- PhotoBook Press knows we all have a book in us and announces a great new way to have this dream realized - The Book in Me Contest. The contest is designed to show how rewarding it is to tell a story using historical photographs or modern digital images AND how easy it is to create a beautiful book to document and share that story.
For a $20 entry fee, every Book in Me contestant will receive a professionally produced 24-page perfect bound book of their images and captions which will then be used to judge the winner of the contest. The winner receives a beautiful custom 120 page hardbound book - enough to tell a really great story - designed and produced by PhotoBook Press.
Each contestant can submit up to 24 pictures or images that tell a story or are their best shots, together with any text or captions, to the contest. PhotoBook Press will print and bind each entry in a 9 x 9 inch (square) or 81/2 x 51/2 inch (landscape) book with 24 pages and a graphical soft cover. Adobe Acrobat PDF book proofs will be provided to contestants prior to printing and submission for judging. Professional photographers from the Twin Cities will judge the entries and choose one to win the design and production of a beautiful 9 x 12 inch hardbound book of up to 100 images on 120 pages.
