Free Newswire Feeds from PublishersNewswire
Add free news headlines to your website from any or all of our news topics in under five minutes. It's as simple as copy-pasting a block of HTML code into the body of your web page(s).

Instructions:

  1. Simply select all of the code in the box below (click inside box, then CTRL+A), then copy-paste (CTRL+C to copy and CTRL+V to paste) from the box into your HTML page.
  2. Modify as needed to match your site colors (see notes below).

Get the Code for this Topic, "Events and Shows News":

Simple Customization
Customizing the above code for your site colors is very simple, assuming you already understand the basics of HTML, such as color codes and using tables.

Examples:

  • Changing Width from 100% to Fixed Width
    Find the first line in the above code that says <table width="100%"> and change to the width in pixels that you wish, such as <table width="200">. Note that if you "nest" this code inside an existing table cell that is 200 pixels wide (or any size), this code will automatically fit without modification.

  • Changing Default Header
    All of our headline feeds have a default "header" such as Book News, which you can change to suit your website. Some examples might be News on the Web, News from PubNewswire.com, or simply Book & Publishing News. To change, simply find the word in the first table cell and change to what you want.

  • Changing Text Colors and Fonts
    To change colors, you need to know the hexcode (ie., "#000000" is black), and then simply change the code to whatever color you wish.

      default headlines code: (medium blue)
      syndicate.title_fontcolor = '#000099';

      default text code: (black)
      syndicate.summary_fontcolor = '#000000';

Example HTML Colors in Hex Format

#006699 #CC0000 #669900 #666600 #990066 #FFCC00
