COLUMBIA, S.C. -- RSVP Press recently announced the publication of a new novel: 'Delicious Housewives' (ISBN: 0930865790) that spoofs popular television shows, primarily the new, hot hit, 'Desperate Housewives.' Authored by Tamarias Tyree, a number one best-selling international author of erotica, this promises to be her hottest book ever!
Inspired by "Desperate Housewives," "Delicious Housewives," is an erotic parody of several popular television series and features the sexy misadventures of five suburban housewives which also pays homage to popular television series such as: "Soap," "Mary Hartman," "Dallas," "Passions," and others. In the final chapter, "The Jerry Springer Show" also comes into play when the wives turn up as guests on the daytime talk show and spill everything!
Readers will enjoy a fun, exciting, and erotic ride when they peek behind-the-scenes into the lives of these five naughty wives.
"It's a parody that is naughtier and nastier than the television series and reveals secrets, offers mystery, suspense and sexual shenanigans," Tyree said.
The novel is written in chapters that resemble soap opera scenes and is easy and fun to read; the genre is similar to the sensationalistic and sizzling author, Jackie Collins.
One critic called "Delicious Housewives": "A trashy, fun read!"
Another critic referred to it as, "Clever, fun and sexy - the Peyton Place for the new millennium."
The names and personalities of the characters in "Delicious Housewives," have been changed and altered in keeping with the parody, but they are still fun and sexy like their television counterparts.
"These hot ladies enjoy lots of sexual adventures and an assortment of misadventures," Tyree explained. "These wives go places that their television sisters would never dare to explore."
Original characters include the "Sexual Psychic" -- one editor called the character "brilliant."
Tyree takes the white-trash/neo-rich novel to a whole new extreme and ends the book like a closing episode of a primetime soap.
Tyree is also the author of "Sex You Up!" and "Sizzling Hot Erotica Volumes One and Two." She is a huge fan of the television series "Desperate Housewives," and felt a book parodying the series would be a lot of fun.
The book is available at fine booksellers such as Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble, Books-A-Million and at any bookstore worldwide in trade paperback; it is also available in digital format as an e-book at MobiPocket.com.
