Authors-Publishers Avoid Internet Scams
Besides some of the latest reports about on-line scams by the IFCC (www.ifccfbi.gov/strategy/pressroom.asp) and the obvious scams that only a person too greedy for their own good would fall for, ie: 'I'm a Christian. I have twenty-one million dollars to invest. Can you help me?' there are some very sophisticated stings directed at the small on-line business owner.

Author and Gospel singer Bob Miller, a registered Republican, said today that it was not carved in stone that President Bush will meet with Rev. T.D. Turner Sr. of the Jesus Non-denominational Church, Greenville, Michigan and others who have burned or advocate the burning of Harry Potter books. Rev. T.D. Turner Sr., a church bishop, said the congregation 'will burn Harry Potter books and other witchcraft items to let the world know that there are true followers of Jesus Christ who will not call evil good.'

POD Superstar or Vanity Press Deception?
You are not self-publishing when you use a Vanity Press. Self-Publishing implies that you 'self' are the 'publisher.' ISBN ownership determines the publisher.
