MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. -- PhotoBook Press knows we all have a book in us and announces a great new way to have this dream realized - The Book in Me Contest. PhotoBook Press, custom publisher of fine photographic memoirs, announces the contest for everyone with a great photo book idea, who always wanted a professionally printed book of their favorite, most meaningful photographs.

The contest is designed to show how rewarding it is to tell a story using historical photographs or modern digital images AND how easy it is to create a beautiful book to document and share that story.

For a $20 entry fee, every Book in Me contestant will receive a professionally produced 24-page perfect bound book of their images and captions which will then be used to judge the winner of the contest. The winner receives a beautiful custom 120 page hardbound book - enough to tell a really great story - designed and produced by PhotoBook Press.

Each contestant can submit up to 24 pictures or images that tell a story or are their best shots, together with any text or captions, to the contest. PhotoBook Press will print and bind each entry in a 9 x 9 inch (square) or 81/2 x 51/2 inch (landscape) book with 24 pages and a graphical soft cover. Adobe Acrobat PDF book proofs will be provided to contestants prior to printing and submission for judging. Professional photographers from the Twin Cities will judge the entries and choose one to win the design and production of a beautiful 9 x 12 inch hardbound book of up to 100 images on 120 pages.

This is a great opportunity to create a small book and to dream of a larger one. To enter the contest go to http://www.thebookinme.com, or see PhotoBook Press and their "books on a stick" in the MPR tent, across from the bandstand at the MN State Fair on September 1st.

Books from PhotoBook Press combine state of the art digital printing technology and old world book arts to create affordable books in quantities as few as one. The beautiful printing and the finest book construction, including sewn signatures, acid-free papers, durable cover materials, headbands, and cases, ensure longevity. For the truly discerning photographer or story teller, unique materials, designs and packaging are available as part of PhotoBook Press' custom book design service.

Bookshelf or coffee table - these are books that will be looked at, touched and shared again and again over the years. The best part is that copies can be made for parents, family and friends.

PhotoBooks are the new way for photographers - amateur and professional - to showcase their images and to tell their stories. To see more about the books go to http://www.photobookpress.com
